PhD College Students Scholarships

There College Students Scholarships is recent evidence that the response to treatment is strongly influenced by intrinsic host factors. To identify genetic variants that predict disease outcome, we have genotyped genetic variants in candidate genes involved in cellular processes associated with tamoxifen action in breast cancer patients with and without tamoxifen monotherapy.

Knowledge:

College Students Scholarships Adjusted statistical methods to identify genetic predictors of response to therapy with tamoxifen will be developed in this project in collaboration with PD Dr. Justo Lorenzo Bermejo, Institute of Medical biometry and Informatics, University Hospital Heidelberg. methodological improvements will focus on robustification standard methods for statistical analysis of genetic data, imputation for example, some strong based on public data warehouses and strong survival analysis. The College Students Scholarships knowledge gained should contribute to the improved treatment of breast cancer.http://www.callforpapersinfo.com
